Visionary Stories for our Era

A new type of documentary series.

After working together on The True Cost documentary, named by the Hollywood Reporter as one of the most influential fashion documentaries of the last decade, acclaimed film director Andrew Morgan, and co-founder and creative director of Eco-Age Livia Firth, launched the short documentary series Fashionscapes to turn the camera towards stories of hope and possibility.

Livia and Andrew have teamed up again to tell two more important stories: Fashionscapes: The Living Wage, and Fashionscapes: Circularity. The Fashionscapes documentary series is available on Eco-Age TV.

Fashionscapes: A Circular Economy

The new episode of Fashionscapes uncovers how fashion’s big chance to embrace circularity and escape a destructive take-make-and-waste model is being undermined by greenwash and oil, and why circular fashion is worth fighting for.

Andrew Morgan (award winning director The True Cost) and Eco-Age founder and creative director Livia Firth, have released Fashionscapes: A Circular Economy, the fifth in the investigative short documentary.

Fashionscapes: The Films

“Andrew Morgan has the ability to make films that seem to be about fashion but are in fact deft examinations of global development, inequality and systemic failure, i.e. the stuff we leave to leaders to ignore on our behalf. In his hands these chewy issues have cultural resonance and become accessible. The upshot is a whole new bank of activists empowered to look for solutions. To me, this is active film making.”
